Christmas Spirit ALIVE AND WELL

Just got done with FIL/MIL's Christmas Party WHAT A BLOW OUT PARTY!!!!

Would like to inform ANY SCROOG types that they are the minority. Food was GREAT!! Spirits ABOUND #ad
And good feelings toward your fellow man or woman as it may be. Wife,Daughter,and 2 SIL's ROCKED THE PARTY in their dresses (or what there was of them :-laf) Seeley will be talking about this party and the dresses for A LONG TIME TO COME!! its a small town and not much goes on here.

The music was provided by my long time friend and now BIL and friends,they let me howl most of the nite. It was going great I remembered the lyrics to the songs!!! and even gave MIL a Christmas Present what do you buy someone that has more change in the bottom of her purse than we have in the bank? She just wanted a Real Christmas Song so that was my present http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXd6gwbM8vA I can assure you IT DIDNT SOUND LIKE THAT. But she loved it she said and gave me a hug and kiss she is a great woman and most of all a FREIND after that it was time for THE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT from the Son and His Wife to go to bed for OUR GRANDSON. I use to sing for the kids at bed time and mom read stories. I sang this for Son for a few Christmas's when I sang it for Zachary, Son gave me a hug and said he loved me Sons and Daughters DONT DO THAT DO THEY? and that was his Present for me every year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1CKkFt8uBY what a little ham he stole the show when he went to sleep in his dad's arms and gramps singing. I thought that I had really messed up because EVERYONE was silent when it was done. Looked up and NOT A DRY EYE IN THE CROWD SO COWBOYS DO CRY Or like I said these allergies are killer aren't they EVEY GUY YELLED YOU BET THEY ARE :-laf most guy's got me a round and a thanks for an easy way out After a half dozen belts of 30year old whiskey the band forgot the notes, myself and the gal singer forgot the lyrics and what song we were REALLY supposed to be singing but not one person seemed to hear the difference. :-laf

To say that this country has problems I believe is an understatement. But its people are in fine shape spiritually

It's going to be a very merry Christmas indeed! Best wishes to all from this neck of the woods. It's been a tough season- thanks to Sandy, and then Newtown, but were forging ahead.

This is our newest truck. It has been minted out and detailed to the max. Today or tomorrow the hopper will be lined with a tarp and itll be filled with toys and brought to the beach where sandy did most of her destruction.

Di, I can't take any credit at all. Just spreading the news
I do know that some kids are not happy seeing that truck at the moment because an army of them took away their old toys, along with the other belongings destroyed by Sandy. That experience really took a toll on some of the sanit men. I'm thinking this is meant to undo some of that.
