Message center electrical Gremlins

My message center lights in dash were not working for 6-hours. 7am: start up,, warning lights came on as usual. 4pm no message center lights come at start up.
10pm in drive thru, shut off engine, to order (5.9 too noisy) start up, lights in message center working again. What kind of Gremlin you think that is?
