Anyone have a favorite brand/model that is reasonably priced and not complicated to operate?

My father in law and my uncle said "whites" are probably the best and less complicated to use, you can find them at your local coin dealership, Im hoping I get one for fathers day, if not Ill probably buy one for myself from the kids.
