Methanol/gal?

I am new to this biodiesel wave, and was wondering, what is a good price for methanol/gal? It is probably better by the 55 gal drum I assume. What about KOH, I assume you have to go to a chemical warehouse for that. So what do they deal in? 50 lbs bags of KOH? I have been doing test batches with NaOH from Lowes and HEET and am ready to up-size. I realize it will probably vary depending where in the country you are but would appreciate a general idea to help bargain the price down where I am.
