Earlier today the news said Michael had been aquited of all charges. I have no opion on this other than I think he is a little strange. I am just suprised that no one has commented on line yet.

Dave Gardner.

W/O knowing all the testimony it is hard to form a legal opinion. To me MJ's own words of thinking it is O. K. for him to sleep with kids is enough to make me think he should be kept away from children. I believe the parents of these kids who would put their kids into that environment should be held equally at fault if there was any wrong doing.

I don't have children, but if I did they certainly wouldn't be going to a "sleep over" with a grown man.

So the jury had 108 pages of instructions? :--) :--) Until i heard that, i figured he'd get nailed for sure on the booze to a minor thing.

Funny how one of the juror said he thought he had molested a child before just that this person was not the one to bring him down. Not believable enough!

I thought it might be all over when the little male child drew a picture of Michaels, uh, penis, white blotches (from the skin bleaching) and all.

But in todays legal system anything is possible.

Smoking Gun

I think it is just a lack on the part of the prosecution to have the "Smoking Gun" they need to try these high profile people. I would say over the past 10 years they have gone to trial with little more than a hope that the jury would like them better than the defense. From being a prior jurist, I would have thrown the instructions back at the judge. 108 pages of instructions  All that should have been stated was to mark the ballot, guilty or not guilty and to make sure you answer is based on a beyond a shadow of a doubt information provided in the trial. I will stop before this turns into a political thread, but what a crock. By the time you got done with the instructions you would forget what you had heard during the trial.

well what can be said, hes famous, and yet another celebrity has been aquitted on criminal charges becaues of "who they are. " IMHO Michael Jackson is a child molestor, and should shot in downtown L. A on his way to jail. From this point on, any parents that take there children to the neverland ranch, should also be shot on the way to jail!

I too was disappointed to hear the verdict. On the other hand, any parent who takes their child to stay with MJ, and then complains about molistation makes about as much sense as taking your child to the zoo, throwing you child in the cage with the lions, and then complaining that the lion attacked the child.

Exactly. MJ is weird, but let's discuss the reality of stardom. When you're a rich celebrity, you are a TARGET. That means that people will make things up to extort your money.

MJ should be institutionalized. He lives in a different world. He's just not sane, as far as I can tell.

So, MJ is at least guilty of being DUMB enough to make himself vulnerable by doing something stupid. Sleepover? For OTHER people's kids? How dumb is he?

He's probably a molester, but doesn't realize it because he thinks that "love" contact with an innocent child is a "beautiful thing".

He's a very disturbed man (if he's still a man anymore), who needs a padded room.

As for the kid accusers, well-- sorry that you got stuck with such a crappy mom. Maybe you will do better for YOUR kids.

Target????

I don't think I buy into the fact he is a target because he is rich. Example-Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, Mel Gibson, (off the top of my head) all rich celebrities who are not being charged with child molestation.

I have to wonder why any grown man would be having kids stay the night at his house? in his bed? giving alcohol to kids? then getting caught with child porn? Of course I also wonder what parent in their right mind would allow their child to get close to him???

The bottom line is this is another example of California's justice system, where you can lie, cheat, molest, rape, and murder as long as you know the right people and/or have enough money to pay for the right people. To sum this up I just want to add, if it looks, walks, and quacks like a duck, then its a duck.

Makes you wonder if the judge cautioned the jury about what the ramifications would be if there were a guilty verdict, remember Rodney King?, OJ? Kobie? I would not be surprised to find out that was taken into consideration, have to consider all the consequences.

Have to agree with Hohn-Tpappas & Bertram65 This guy is a fruit and no mother or father in his right mind would sign off for an over night stay at neverland.

My opion and Im sticking to it.

David Gardner :)

People always say why dont they do something about it before something bad happens. But when they try look what happens, things like this really make me wonder about the people that share this world

Yeah,go figure, she was really dangerous to us all and to kids.

I don't think thats the case here Hohn especially with him having prior history of silencing two others for the very same thing. Weird is a complete understatement of what he is but will everyone heed that warning, nope. The parents who allow their kids to go to his "ranch" should be taken out back and be treated to a old fashioned hickory stick thrashing. Should MJ be in jail, certainly and without a doubt in my mind, but, being a realist I knew that would never happen. One thing is for sure,IF he was convicted and sentenced he wouldn't have lasted very long in the prison system. Its a well known fact that criminals who partake in crimes against children usually end up having a short stay in jail.

2 things really had me tweaked while this crapola was going on. One was the "Good"(and I use that term loosely) Rev Jesse Jackson flapping his piehole again on something he knows squat about other than trying to show he has influence. I guess Mikey figured that if Jackson could get the former OSU running back taken in the first round of the draft then he could help Mikey too. The other is who stands to gain the most out of all this publicity from MJ's trial, why we all know its MJ himself. Watch and see if his records don't start flying off shelves like they used to. Its too bad we all can't get together and have a big bonfire and melt all the ones our kids have to show our displeasure... ... . Andy

I dont want to move out of California!

I just want everyone that doesnt see things as I do, to move out of California!

That should leave ALOT of vacancies :-laf

one of the jurors grandchildred was a convicted sex offendor. how the heck did the defense allow that to happen? the only winner out of the whole ordeal was MJ and his lawyer. oh well, he'll meet his maker eventually.....

I have to agree with Hohn on this one. The prosecution just didn't put together a good enough case, and the accuser's mother sank them. Doesn't mean he didn't molest another kid, but they couldn't prove within a reasonable doubt that he molested THIS one. He needs help - that's obvious. Way I figure it, he's got some definite pedophilic tendencies, but not enough for a criminal prosecution to stick.
