Everybody should join this society and find where Michael is on the radio. Here in the PST timezone he's on from 4-7 PM. I found him about two months ago - what a relief - he makes Rush seem like a *****cat - and he's right. He's where rush should be.....

I read their mission statement - I thought America was founded on the principles of the freedom of religion and the separation of church & state. Maybe I'm thinking of another country... .

Just thinking out loud - our founding fathers had the presence of mind and foresight to create the 2nd Amendment but I don't remember seeing/reading anything about a national language. If we're going to rely on foresight of those folks and the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment then how can it be argued that English & the Bible are the pillars upon which America is built?

I welcome your disagreements:)

Brian. .

you need to listen to him for a week . . then you'll see he isn't the person you have in mind. .

he is very good and a old fassioned VALUE guy. . but believes the pendulm has swung to far to the left and says so very loud and clear

took some time for me several years ago when I started to listen to him. . still do not go along with everything he says but most I do.

he is on KSFO a San Francisco station if you can believe that. . just went national about 5 months ago.

the reception 3 hrs away is very bad but I still listen

Willyslover is right! Michael Savage is right on the money! and not afraid to tell you how it is! I listen to him everyday, and you can too! He will definately open your eyes to what's going on in the USA!

Is he as obnoxious as Limbaugh? Rush makes some good points but the guy is in love with the sound of his own voice. My mom listens to him and I have to leave the room after a minute - I can't stand him for any longer than that.....

Gary I aggree with you 100%.

And I have One Question For All,

Why Do So Many More Liberial/Leftist People Live in the Big Metro Areas?. Do you think it could be the water? or the Smog Clouding their Brains?. They are perfect targets for our foes.

There is Right and Wrong,

And I am On the Right not the Left(wrong).

Savage comes on around these parts in the early evening (7-10). Best way to end the day is listening to him. I agree with 9 out of 10 things he says.

Keep up the good work Savage!!!

Michael Savage

Although I haven't listened to Michael much lately, I used to listen to him nightly (on my way to work... his show starts at *11:00 PM here). I could just kick myself for missing him last night on my way to work though. I, like Gary and Bob, feel he pretty much represents my views.

*OOPS! EDIT: Michael's show actually starts here at 9:00 PM, running to midnight. I got screwed up as I listen to it starting at about 11:00 PM)

HDH,

Was there a point somewhere in your posts? I seem to have missed it.

Maybe I need to clarify my statement about Rush. I tend to agree with his message I just want to shoot the messenger after hearing repeat the same thing for the 5th time.

Savage Nation

I've been listening to Michael Savage on KSFO out of San Fran for a couple years now. Very entertaining program. It's hard to imagine a conservative talk show program thriving in this area!:)

Savage is a little hard to take. But then, so is a tetanus shot. :D

It takes a couple weeks to see is the REAL deal. If you listen for only a show or two, you may get the wrong impression.

Give him a try. He calls a 'spade' a black, pointed, shovel-shaped, one-of-four choices, thirteen to the deck... ... SPADE !! Joe:)

Not wishng to pick on you Brian, but the first part of the above is correct. One of the founding principles of or country is/was freedom to practice or not to practice the religion of ones choice.

However, I think you might be hardpressed to find "Separation of Church and State" being one of those principles specifically mentioned. More specifically what was written deals with prohibiting Congress/government from mandating a particular religion as the State religion. This was to avoid the same relationship found between England and the "Church of England" where the King pretty much dictated that loyal subjects were to worship in the state sponsored church. All this Separation stuff came about from that O'hare broad who sought to spread her aetheistic religion to one and all. Yes aetheism does qualify as a religion whether or not the practitioners of such wish to admit it or not.

OK, stupid question. I'd like to check this guy out. I went to the website to see what radio station in the Houston area carried his show, and didn't find anything but "TRN1" & "TRN2". Is he only on the Internet, or what?

This would be a far, far, far, better country if we had more guys like Savage and Rush!(I get a little irritable about people go on about his manner of delivery-----everyone needs a trademark is they are going to stand out, and stand out he does---thank god. ) And far, far, far-----to the inth powerr , fewer like Daschel and Gore and such.

Swamp rat,

No need to worry about picking on me - I can take it. You should here some of our discussions at work:) I thoroughly enjoy the discussions we have on this site. I may not agree with you point of view but I will listen to it. The only time I get irritated is when the discussion result in name calling etc.

My comment about separation of church/state was directed at the comment in the Paul Revere Society Mission Statement about getting back the pillarst that America was founded on and the Bible being one of the pillars. My question is "whose Bible?" King James or some other version? What about the Koran or the Torah? Or any of the other 'recognized' religious 'texts'?

Don't try and have revisionists tell you otherwise - it was the KJ version and if you look at the census data from the 1700's, the number of Folks who considered the Koran as there Bible was less than those folks who today still consider the earth flat!
