Michelins on a 2500

Just in case you were thinking about buying ... I've got 265/75's, LTX/MS. I bought them in Jan '04 @ 121k on the odometer.



Happened across a road hazard ... time to replace the rt rear. That tire costs $180 now. The original tread depth was 14/32nd.



At 152k on the odometer, it has 10/32 remaining. I used 4/32 in 31,000 miles ...



The new tire cost me $60. Oo.

Yah. I've got at least 15,000 miles on my LTX's (245/75R16,) and 7,000 of that is towing 10,000 lbs. of trailer and Jeep across country. Worked well in the snow this winter (yes, I tested them in da YooPee!) and hold the road in the rain.
