Anybody have any experience with these tires... ... ... ... ... ...

if you open the Brochure on this page... it states the mas speed as being 75 MPH..... does that mean they will not hancle high speeds at high temperatures - or is this an Attorney required POS statement?????

I believe all the 19. 5's are rated at 75mph. I have exceeded those speeds with no problems (on a closed course of course ).



I have the same ones on my truck. They seemed to wear real fast then again this coincided with a 10 plate upgrade. I am not sure if it is the tire or the power upgrade as I noticed that the tires are right at the spin threshold when accelerating, probably due to the light rear end of an empty truck. I have since put new goodyears on the rear and moved the michelins to the front. The quick wear seems to have stopped but my testing continues. the goodyears g-622's seem to be holding up real well but I will need another year of usage to know for sure. In short unless carrying a real heavy load I wouldn't worry about the speed rating. They are made to cover a fully loaded mid-size truck. Be cautious of quick tire wear ask around if anybody else had problems

How much did you spend for the 19.5" wheels

on your truck... . would you do it again???????

Short answer NO

Long reason. The xd's seem to wear very fast, I need another year to compare them to the goodyears, I like the more aggresive tread on the Goodyear. Goodyears are made in USA the xd's on my truck are made in France. They seem to be the same price. One load range less but I dont think you need it on the Ram. Rickson Truck Wheels and Accessories



IfI find the wear was not that bad I would consider them again but today I would not. I bought mine at a local dealer not rickson I only showed the link for price comparison.





I bought the 19. 5's from rickson many years ago . They were powder coated steel with no holes. I do not remember what they cost. The new good years I bought last Decemebr for around 400 eachplus mount plus balance



To add onto the speed thing I often feel the tires and rims toc check for problems after long highway runs of 75 - 85 mph and they have never felt hot even after 14 hour runs of only stopping to pee, fuel and stretch
