OK. I have some news. I need some feedback ASAP.

First off, I have decided that we will call ourselves the "Mid-Atlantic Rammers". I hope you all agree. This was mentioned by a few of our members suggestions. I think it sounds good. Anyway, on with the news.

I have talked to Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ, about The Mopar Nationals on June 3&4. I was told we would be spoiled. A very special place to park(as a group of course). Trophies for a show and shine and maybe trophies for whom ever wants to race down the strip. They may be able to find us some judges too. I was told that the 24th annual Cummins US Diesel truck nationals would be a little harder for us to get together and park together. All the big rigs and cement mixers take up all the room. So it might be better for us to have a little get together in June, since we will have more room to mingle and such. I for one would like to go down the strip. What can I hurt? Please let me know if you think you would attend. We would plan for Saturday for our event. BTW Raceway park is in the middle of NJ probably closer to NY than Philly. So all you New Englanders should try to attend.

On to our next meeting. We will be having a meeting and possibly a catered BarBQ provided by Ted Jannetty of Jannetty Racing Enterprises. The catered BarBQ depends on how many of you respond to me with a firm commitment to attend. Either way we will be have a meeting there. I think it will be on Saturday July 15. Let me know if this date works with you. Ted will be educating us with his knowledge on many things related to our Rams. We will probably have some demonstrations or installations of JRE related products. Please let me know if you plan to attend. Ted is going to let me of some hotels for those of us who said we would go up the night before. Teds place is located in Conn. About a 3 hour ride for me here in South jersey right outside of Philly.

Once again, I need your feedback. I have a few other things on the table. So your cooperation is essential to getting this club off the ground. I have recieved alot of e-mails from the TDR members with an interest for some events. Well here they are. I am giving us plenty of time to plan. So please try to attend.

If you have any ideas please feel free to e-mail me with them. I will have to get back with Raceway park about the Truck Nationals upon all of your responses.

Thanks again,

Michael Griffiths

P. S. I know that there is more Rammers in our region that have not contacted me yet via e-mail so please try to let them know about our events as well. Some of you who have emailed me did not give me the full info, like name. So you e-mails are sent out to UK for Unkown. Give me your name so it makes it easier for my address book.

I tried to email all of the TDR members who originally contacted me As Per"NEW NORTHEAST REGION FORMING NOW. " I have been having a problem with my IE email so please email me at GRIFF996@AOL. COM with your confirmations and suggestions.

Hello everyone. I talked with a few of you about the date for a meeting at Ted Jannetty's. Since I have never recieved an issue of TDR until yesterday I was unaware of an event in Long Island the day after the event at Teds. So in talking with Ted today we decided to poll all of you for a date. I think it would be difficult for some of us to get away for a whole weekend without our family for some truck club events. So Ted and I would like some suggestions for a date. We would prefer later than sooner, this way we can promote it and get a great turnout. Maybe this could become a annual thing. Please e-mail me with your thoughts and suggestions. Please e-mail me at Griff996@aol.com because I am having problems with my other account.

I am sorry. I delagated this one to someone else and they dropped the ball. I should have followed thru with the people I originally spoke too. I can tell you that our inthusiasm still is high. We will get some events planned soon. I am sure we still will have a few guys there this weekend from some of the e-mails I recieved. We just won't be in a organised place. Once again I am sorry. It won't happen again
