Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

HOOOO BOY!

A ford to stomp a ford to stomp!:-laf Oo.

We'll be limited to about 12 trucks--but we might let a ford or two in for entertainment purposes. Depends on how many of US want to run. ;)

Yall have to fight over the paint.

Anybody had a Line-X done in Franklin? I'm getting my red truck done. I've already heard some bad on the Nashville store. I had Mom's done at Tullahoma--pretty good job, but I don't care for the personalities over there, thought I might try Franklin.

And with the holidaze and all, we (I) didn't get the cards mailed out to the generally membership. I 'spose we might could get some out last minute. I'll call Robin. But it looks like we'll have PLENTY of folks to have a good time. So talk it up on the street. I put some fliers up around here last time. No reply at all, but had two folks come from personal solicitation + a flier.

I think fliers for the dyno thing will bring some out--especially from the Wilson Co. area.

If we have a big dyno group, I'll do my trucks a few days before to free up some slots. Will have some tuning to do on both of them.

High Commander Over and Out.

I was in east TN a couple of days after Christmas riding offroad motorcycles and parked by a guy that had "Cummins Power" badges on. Got to talking and he and his buddy are from M'boro. Small world. He has a 02 and the other guy a 03 with an EZ. Told them about the meeting and they sounded excited. They are hopefully reading this. They are members but I don't Know their Screen names.

Does anybody want my stock exhaust? Its free!! I went to the scrap yard today but could not stomach to toss it. If none of you want it I'll post it in Pay it forward.

Looking forward to the meeting!!!

My old exhaust was getting in the way too. Then I got the 12v and put it on there to remove the cat and have a resonator. 12v looks kinda odd with the 24v tailpipe. Never know when that junk will come in handy. Rest assured that it's coming off for the stacks to go on. :D

Hmmm discarded parts pile--SR's, airboxes, miserly injectors... :p

Dunno if yall have been following it, but the ibbity jibbity my truck has--has been narrowed down to very cold conditions. Thread is "hesitaion with no codes". It only happens under 30 or so. I'm going to block some of the underhood air next time it gets that cold.

No reply, no answer from TDR today. We should have enough, especially with new recruits being pulled in from the woods. ;)

Cool beans Steve!! I hope they show.

We're liable to have a REAL big turnout at this gathering (which would be fantastic). We should prob try and come up with a loose agenda... . so's we don't stand round staring at each other for two hours and go home. :p ;)

Gauges

My gauges were delivered yesterday. They look sweet. Can't wait to get them in. Can our January 10th meeting be turned into a Tech. meeting?

Wade, please being your tan interior paint with you to the meeting. I want to coat the pillar pod.

I am thinking about using hydraulic hose to feed the fuel pressure gauge. Stainless is nice but too expensive and overkill for this application. What everyone's opinion on the hydraulic hose option?

Thanks,

Jay

'bout how many trucks are estimated?. . I mean, do we need to rent a couple of those blue outhouses or maybe a keg... . or both

Gap's boy in that jeep is entertaining enough for me:eek: :-laf :-laf

Hydro hose sounds good to me. I don't really know, but I would THINK that should be more than sufficient. I'm perty sure that Gap used that same plastic tubing that you use for your boost gauge. I would also like to see some tech stuff take place. I know that I'm DANG nervous about drilling my manifold for the pyro... . I'd like some help on that from the guys that have done it.

How many people? I dunno. I'll start a list and try to keep it updated.

Okay, I'm bringing two cans of paint, a Briar Hopper test gauge, 1/4 NPT tap, some catfish, and a twelvepack.

Agenda: bidness--Take up collection for HVAC trust. Pick a day for Dyno in March. Discuss May meeting options. Pass out club roster... what else?

tech: poke holes in manifolds, fight over paint, test lift pumps...

other: go ford hunting, blow smoke, "true" tires, EAT fried everything, admire Gap's shop, spit in the gravel... :D

Hey, somebody pull an RV or two over there, so we don't HAVE to go home. ;)

List:

Mark said he's coming and Meacham swears that he'll be there.

Red will be there. No telling who/what Nick and Red will drag up from the West end of the state. :p

See yall next year. HNY!

I am planning on meeting Nick and following him to GAP's.

I can bring the 1-TON and blow some smoke with the rest of yall or I can bring the Duramax if anyone wants a gruge match against a chevy.

Either way I will be up for hunting a ford to smoke!

BTW what time does this thang start?

Robert

Meeting starts at the crack of 10.

14 horses couldn't have pulled me out of bed this morning... . sombuddy put something in my drink!:p

Hey Robert, you can't vote if you drive the Chevy. :-laf

Not really, suit yourself. :D

Sumthin in my drink

Okay, I'm all better now.

Derned old 24v has developed a #2 leak somewhere near the return/supply/lift pump area. Was dripping off the bell housing---but couldn't get it to leak parked. Pressure is unchanged.

Going to hose it off with brake cleaner and see what I can find in the morning.

Jan 10th meeting 10:00 a.m.

Just got a PM from Brent (Blandau) and he is coming bringing another cummins owner. Invited 3 more local folks too. We might have 25 people there! :D

Lotso of chicken wings! How about I'll get drinks and chicken wings and put out a donation bucket? Any oppositions? Request for beverages? I gotta do the Dew!

Anybody wanting to do any Tech stuff is welcome to come earlier. I've got a fair amount of tools, but don't have the taps and cant guarantee the drill bit size. Either or, I live 2 minutes away from everything we would need.

Yanked those silly little 215's out and dropped in the 370's today. MMMM, power. :)

eeek gad, and SMOKE too. :p

Now that PYRO swings like it should!--no more of that hesitation at 1250. 1400-1500-peg--you name it!

I slid the plate back to 3/4--looks like 1/2 might be enough. Until I get another turbo that is...

Anybody got a BHAF they're not using? I'm on the list for a Scotty, but they're behind in production.

Meeting--I've got a good bit of Duck River Flathead catfish to donate. Somebody got a favorite hushpuppy recipe? Might bring some deer butt too. Dern, now I'm hungry. MMMM, beer.

Wade which truck are you bringing to the meeting?

Guys I will definately be there, but being as I'm 20 years old and its my young gun nature to go out on Friday nights I might not be there "right at" 10am. :p :-laf :D

I'll probably be in the red truck. I've got the 'zilla and GCF to show off. And I can drive it fast on unknown roads. "Death Wobble" makes high speed bumps a bit dicey in the green one.
