Hey if it's going to start costing more and is going to be more of a hassle for you, why don't we just all compromise on one or two colors for shirts? I know I've seen 3 or 4 different colors that people are wanting on here and it may be more trouble than it's worth.

Let us know what you find out tomorrow.

I'm fine with ANY color other than black..... its hard to sport a black shirt during the middle of Summer @ Diesel Thunder or Scheid Extravaganza :{

I agree on the color choices. Come on guys, give it a break. I want mine pink with purple polka dots, trimmed with a red ruffle.

I say we are getting WHITE shirts. And guess what? You can even pick your own size!

Buncha skirts! Thats my opinion, it outta be yours! :D Thats my momma coming out in me!

I tolt yo *** I would check on the price. If it's only a dollar or two more per shirt, it'd be cool to have a couple of different colors. Chick doesn't come in till freakin' 11:30, so I can't get hold of her till then. She sounds cute though, so I'll cut her some slack. :D

If Gap wants pink with purple polka dots, with a red ruffle, then HE SHALL HAVE IT!

I talked to Kate, and here's the Skinny:

I had to give an example for the quote since I don't have the order compiled yet.

50 Shirts, 25 of them XXL, 4Color Logo:

White Shirts will be $13. 35 each.

Colored Shirts will be $14. 36 each.

if we want straight up white shirts, we can revert back to the other pricing... sort of. The XXL's are still more expensive, and my original quote only included 10 of them.

Either way, that's out the door. Tax and shipping included (read: Not charged).

Lemme know. We're also going to have to come up with a system for collecting the cash for these things when it comes down to "go time".

Logo will MOST LIKELY look more like this...

#ad

Note I put blue in the middle instead of black. This should drop the price of each shirt a dollar or so since we're back to three colors instead of four.

White is fine by me as well - except for those darn underarm stains! :-laf

As far as collecting money - how about PayPal? I'm sure some of you have experience with this and it would be pretty easy to get the money directly to Andy or whomever gets in charge of collecting.

Anyone with an email address can send money to someone with a PayPal account. Here's the catch though - if you don't do a direct transfer from a bank account to the receiver, it will take a percentage off your transfer. Also, it will take a percentage out of the total sent to the receiver.

OK, maybe this isn't such a good idea! I think I've talked myself out of it. Oh well, it was a thought - how about the ever-reliable US Mail?

And as far as prices - I personally am for keeping it as cheap as possible - $14 is sort of expensive to me for a T-shirt. But I am willing to splurge for the group!

Yeah, I thought about PayPal too. They just eat you alive with fees. It's awful. I'll think up something.

... and yeah, $14 was pushing my willingness to buy multiple shirts. If we go with white, I am going to speculate that we can then get away with 2 colors. and should be able to get the price to about $10. I'll call Kate back tomorrow and ask.

Hey andy, would like to add a 2xl to the list if its not too late. white is ok, or i'll opt for the second color if available (horribly prone to stains). thanks, rob.

Throw me in for two XXL shirts in gray or white. Did you guys look at toddler or kids sizes? I've got an 8 year old that will HAVE TO have one. I think the PayPal fees are considerably lower if you pay from your bank account rather than with a credit card.

Hey, also, a 3 color logo shirt becomes a cheaper 2 color logo shirt if one of the logo colors is the shirt color...

He finally wrote his 1st post! :) Now maybe he will get that fuel plate! Oo.

Yeah, that's one of the things we're trying to do. To me, that's a good reason for a white shirt.

I'd like to have some other colors (blue), but it's not that big of a deal to raise the price. Thing is, we'ed have to pay extra set-up costs to have a white shirt printing the blue ink leaving out the white ink in the logo, and a blue shirt printing the white ink and leaving out the blue ink in the logo. Know what I mean? It's basically double set up for screenprinting.

Also NOTE. I need to clarify. . if you want s-XL, you will pay one price if you want XXL or XXXL, your shirt will be slightly more expensive. Probably in the neighboorhood of $2/shirt.

I haven't gotten a hold of Kate today to ask about toddler sizes. I can figure though if it requires resizing the logo, then we will incur a set-up fee. I don't mind getting them to do that, but those that order toddler shirts (myself included) will have to bear that extra set-up costs and not ask those who aren't buying XXS stuff like that to bear that cost.

Update from Printer. I don't EXACTLY understand what she's saying, and will call soon to figure it out.

"Hi Andy,

We can print the same design on different shirt styles/colors, and the pricing is based on the total quantity of shirts printed with that design.

Be advised that darker colored shirts are more expensive than lighter colored shirts, and there may be a $10 charge to change ink colors (for example changing from white ink printed on a black shirt to black ink printed on a white shirt. )

For white shirts S-XL= $9. 88 each

For grey shirts S-XL= $10. 54 each

For Navy shirts S-XL= $10. 90 each

For all XXL shirts please add $2. 00 to the price For all XXXL shirts add $3. 00 to the price

Please let me know if this is clear and what else I can do to help. Thanks,

Kate"

Okay, I'll have a chirt.

2-XL any color ('cept black cuz Mark says that's hot in the summer. )

1-small.

And if'n the kid shirts aren't a problem and cheaper, I'll take two of those. I'll have to check on the size.

Anybody can buy a chirt, just follow the directions posted here (when they get posted). S&H not included in price. ;) Yankees pay a $5 surcharge for burning Georgia. :-laf

Ok... we're ready. Pricing is as follows. Cummins logo on the front, Our logo on the back Our slogan will be changed on the shirt from "Performance Diesel Group" To Cummins Diesel Performance Group".

For white shirts S-XL= $9. 88 each

For grey shirts S-XL= $10. 54 each

For Navy shirts S-XL= $10. 90 each

For all XXL shirts please add $2. 00 to the price For all XXXL shirts add $3. 00 to the price.

I know you've all "placed" your orders via posting, but if you'd be kind enough to send me an e-mail (not a PM, 'cause I can't organize them like I can e-mail), then I'll give you a mailing address to send your checks to. Also, maybe we can schedule a lunch this week or next week to collect the money if you'd rather just give me cash.

PayPal. Some of you have requested this. It looks like I CAN send an invoice to you and request that you send me money. It also looks like you can send it straight to me throught PayPal. However, it appears that you'll have to give them your checking or savings account number. I can't receive payment via check/debit card without incurring a fee.

Also, if you want to round up to the next dollar, I'll post the total collected, keep the overage in an envelope, and present that money to the next person who hosts a meeting for food and what not.

Deadlines: Let's say money needs to be in by noon Friday March 18th. I'll plan on placing the order Wed March 23rd.

Sounds like a good excuse to have a Hooters lunch meeting! You could collect money and orders there instead of having to go through PayPal. PayPal likes to stick you with all their little fees. How about Monday (3/14)?
