It's official. I talked to Meacham this morning.

Mid-Tenn TDR Winter Rally​

will be

held at Cedar City Diesel in Lebanon,

Tennessee on Saturday, February 23rd.​

CCD is open till noon on Saturdays so we'll start at noon so as not to interfere with Meacham's business. CCD is providing us with something to eat so I need to know a general idea of how many are coming.



I've sent out several requests for hats, t-shirts, and other door prizes from Diesel related businesses and I've already gotten several positive responses.



We want this to be an informative meeting. There are lots of new things in the Diesel performance market. I know fuel economy is tops on everybodies list right now and Meacham told me a couple of things I didn't know in just the few minutes I spoke with him this morning. We want to have a "Q & A" session where we can find answers to our questions. We will have a basket to drop your questions in anonymously so no one will feel like they're asking a stupid question (there are no "stupid" questions!) and we'll get answers to our questions from our own knowledgable members and maybe some outside sources.



Directions to CCD are very simple:



Exit 239-B off I-40.

1. 3 miles on 70 West past the fair grounds.

Right at light onto Tennessee Blvd.

CCD on the right . 3 miles.

We're going to have some GREAT door prizes. I've already got gift certificates from Peter at SBC, Bryan at DPP, Geno's Garage, and t-shirts and stickers from Ross at Dynomite Diesel Performance, DPP, Geno's, and others!

The door prizes are stacking up. I've got at least 6 gift certificates to diesel related businesses, a couple of them worth $250 each! Lots of t-shirts, hats, stickers, and if they get here in time, a case of fuel filters for you 2000-2007 guys.

Early's OK but we need to remember that Meacham's business is open till noon. We don't want to interfere with him making a buck or two, especially since he's letting us use his building and supplying our lunch.

Good news is I'll be there with the Red One. Bad news is that there won't be a grille on it... ordered one out of Cali just now.



Going to be tough getting out of the ultra-spooler 24v and climbing back up into the 12v. But GAWD I've been needing 4wd lately.

I received my invite this week and will be coming from Memphis. I just offered up my truck as a clinic for injector and exhaust manifold upgrade. Injectors are in hand and manifold should show up tomorrow. I have parts and truck but no experience with injectors or exhaust and a lot of fear :O

Looks like we're up to about 25-30 local fellas and several from east TN and west Tn that have called or e-mailed me. Weather looks to be good but cool. It's going to be a good time.

Hey Glen, glad to have you. I spoke with Meachum this morning and he said that we would get you fixed up with your injectors and manifold. We'll enjoy the "clinic"!

Hi folks... . I sincerely wanted to make it and drive up with my 500,000 mile plate leading the way, but my flight from Philadelphia got cancelled and won't get back to Nashville until tomorrow afternoon. Had great fun on the last event I attended and really wanted to come on this one, just couldn't get away from this snowstorm.
