Just seeing what kind of interest there is if I arranged a Dyno Day here in Omaha, NE? Its a Mustang Dyno. I was thinking sometime in Oct on a Saturday. Duallys will have to remove the outer wheels to run I believe, but I'll verify this shortly.

So if your interested, post here and what day in Oct you prefer so I can get this started. Normally its $90 for an hour, but going to get it for a Saturday and work on the price, so don't know the details yet.

Hopefully, this much notice it can be an event lots of people can attend #ad

Also, other then just a dyno day..... is there something "particular" your interested in... . if so, then list it here.

bpete -

If ya know of or attend any truck pulls a lil close this way (instead of other side of KS) lemmie know please.

I would be interested as well as I would like to find out what kinda of power my truck is making and what I need to do to put out around 300-320 HP with no more or no less. Oct. 27th would work okay for me too.

Depending on your cruising speed, 2½ to 3 hours. Its less then 200 miles I believe.

Can you do me a favor and call Cummins there in KC and try to find out when and if they are having an open house this year? Last year I think it was Oct 21st. I wanna make sure I do a different Saturday then them. Also the sled you have access to, can anyone hook upto it, if they happen to be in KC? Just wondering.

Bring on the dynos and dodges. My wife is always looking for a reason to get out and play. Any date is fine, I guess that is the benefit of being self-employed.

I'd go, but $90 is pretty steep. At the NE Days, it was $20 per run (donated to charity). I would like to get an accurate read without 20mph wheel slip and pieces of rubber flying all over the place #ad
Keep posting the info on it and maybe get some of the MO. guys, along with MN. , the Dakota's, etc... How 'bout vendors and product demo's? May as well make it a biggy (big grill-out?) and do a little advertising, and maybe get some more people from your area to join (like the guy who pulled up in front of the trucks at the diner like he was one of the gang, and had never even heard of the TDR)... Count me in for Oct 27th. Kat, please let me know the width of the dyno rollers when you get a chance. My 295's were REALLY close up at NE Dyno Days (84" rollers) and Tony's 33's did not fit. I do not know how many more spare's we can shred.

Granted thats a steep price, but bear in mind this is all this guy does is dyno things by appointmnet only! Its a new state of the art Mustang Dyno and he "Tests" alot of things for Mustang. Also we have to do it in Oct or later in order to get a better price. I was hoping to get it for less then $50 a truck... for a Saturday. Like I said they are appointment only type shop, so I am working on it. And hes not as nice as Dave G is... in regards to donating it to charity... ... ... .

All the other questions... . I am working on.

Count me in. I too am looking to see what can happen with no wheel slip. Will he print out the results for us, Kat? I also want to pick Tony's brain some more. I also want to repay him for calming me down after the last dyno run. After I thought my truck was gonna melt-down. Although, $90 is a touch rich. Keep us posted dude.

I hope i can get the girlfriend talked into going with me to omaha

I bet you thought I forgot!

Well just wanted to bring this back up to the top. I am going to get a baseline on my truck next Tuesday and talk more with the owner. I have secured the date of Oct 27th. 8am to 6pm is how long I requested the dyno. I'll have more info soon.

So who is interested (other then those that have already posted)???

How many want to dyno?

He'll get me the roller width info tuesday, he said all trucks will fit but the 1 tons have to take off the outer wheels! Its a Mustang dyno.

Man Oct is going to be an exciting month!

Oct 27h is concrete date I already put down a deposit.
