Had my 04. 5 in less than 500 miles ago for the "9,000 mile service". During the service they did a TSB on the truck. Today, on my second trip of the day the MIL light came on and stayed on. I have 3 or 4 times in 5 miles where the truck hesitated, then was running normal. I did shut the truck off and try a restart with a hesitation on the start. Any suggestions, where are guys finding these problem codes?

04. 5, QC, 6 sp 4x4, fresh oil change, service and air filter...

Did you check to which code was set? You can do so by cycling the ignition switch on and off without starting the engine 3 times. It will readout in the odometer area. Post the codes you get so we can help.

Further update... at around the 5K mile point the dealer performed the 18-037-04 reflash. At the 9K mile service for some reason they covered up the 18-037-04 reflash sticker with a new sticker saying TSB 18-007-04 had been performed? In reading on Fritz's page these reprogrammings may cause the MIL to come on if they don't erase the "DTC's" prior to returning the vehicle.

We'll see... taking it back to the dealer tomorrow

341 is the camshaft position sensor. 0016 is camshaft/crankshaft misalignment. It my have just burped or perhaps even one of the sensors may be going bad. I don't think the software change caused the code to be set. Good luck at the dealer.
