I just hooked up my edge juice w/attitude and I've seen a drop in fuel milage. My driving habits haven't changed and I'm calculating by hand. I usually drive around on level 1. Does anyone have any feedback on this? Thanks! Oh, I'm getting plenty of power with it. Just crappy fuel milage.

Thanks for the reply. I had an 02 with the edge EZ in it so the new juice wasn't that new for me only I'm cable of changing the settings now. I've been easy on the peddle since I filled up to test my milage compared to milage without. I'll set it to level 3 and see what happens. Again, thanks for the quick response.

I agree with Mark, I found the Juice/Attitude on level 3(60Hp) with LowBoostFueling at 3 was my best mileage setting over stock.

TST on 3/3 also seems so far to be the best mileage setting for me and that is pretty much the same 60hp or so level.

I'm not sure why my signature isn't showing up. I'm new to TDR. My truck is a 2005 automatic 4x4 SB Aeroturbine, Cold air kit and juice w/attitude.

Your signature is showing up correctly, it will only show once on any page of posts. I think he ment the year model of your truck (2005) was not in the signature. The year makes a lot of differences on some questions.

With my '01 I got an increase of 0. 5-1. 0mpg when I added the EZ. With my '04. 5 I never got any increase. Both trucks pull the exact same trailer and have similar exh/intake mods.

I usually run the Juice on Level 1/3 or 4. I've done some towing on 2/x but never on 3/x. Maybe I should try 3/3 or so and see what happens.

I've only run a few tank fulls through since adding the Juice Attitude. I've been running level one as well and can't really see much difference in fuel economy over stock. It's hovering around sixteen and I'm driving it like Grandma. I may try level two and see if there is any difference.

I am very pleased with the throttle reponse if I do need the power. Level 3 in this truck feels like my Edge on level 3 on my '03.

I haven't towed yet with the box, but I'm interested to see what level 1&2 do to my EGT's. I'm reluctant to go over level two with the 48RE and towing my heavy fith wheel.

Sorry to hear that... I installed one in mine back in August and it increased by 6 MPG. NOW that is driving normal, no half throttle etc... just using it to go to and from work which is about half highway speeds 60mph and half 35 - 45 mph I went from 18-19 mpg to 23-24 mpg. I run mine on #5 but you must remember NOT to hit it, guess I am just too afraid of breaking something I'll have to fix... . But it works for me, I am very pleased with it so far.

Mine has been in about two months and 4200 miles and I have an ave. of 1. 5 mpg increase, all depending on how often an how deep the right peddle goes tank to tank. Is your truck broke in yet? It needs to be needs to be loaded down heavy 5000+ and drive it, pull some long hills. If your not pulling a heavy load on a regular basis it might take 60-70 thousand to break in, break in means more milage.

Well I put the juice on 3/3 and I'm not seeing much difference in fuel economy. I'm driving this thing so easy that I let a couple of punk kids pass me in a suzuki sidekick after they were riding my butt for 5 miles. The power is definetly there though. The milage is not. I've got 9,000 miles on it and I've been pulling a 8,000lb TT all summer so it should be broke in. Oh, right now I average 18 MPG just to and from work. Exactly the same before the chip.

KAltizer,

Is your mileage hand calculated or from the overhead just curious?? My dad's looking at getting a box for his truck (see signature) and was looking for something with the best fuel economy

One thing that I have found is that if I always accelerate slowly up to speed when I am in town, I am always doing just that, accelerating. Always being under a light load does not seem to help mileage in a Cummins. I have had better luck squeezing out a little more MPG's getting right up to speed and then maintaining it.
