mild modules?

Been out of the dodge/cummins thing for awhile. Just bought a 2500 quad cab 4x4 and once it gets a few miles on it i might like something with no more than about fifty horse. Will the stock trans handle that much?it is a daily driver,I plow and pull a 5000lb snowmobile trailer all winter. Also from the little I gather so far I would like to stay away from pressure boxes. But most companys are unclear how they get there power. What is the max egt on the cummins,and if I run a small power setting do I need gauges. On my 6. 0 ford I had edge and on the 60 horse setting you could never get it to go over 1200 pre turbo. Thanks to all.

The Quadzilla XZT would be a good choice. Gives you 65 hp, 1-4 mpg, Was designed for towing and has oil temp monitoring. Also ghas very low egts.

Check out the Edge EZ line, quality and easy install. Then you could also go with a programmer like a Predator by Diablo and just program it for the 45 HP level!

I second the vote fot Quad XZT not to take anything away from the edge but its about 1/2 the price and works great... i had one for a while then i moved on to the powerPDA.

Does the Quad XZT add fuel pressure to get power? Have there been any reliability issues caused by it? Also my Pyro Probe is mounted Post Turbo, would I have to move it?
