I have had a sudden mileage drop with my current truck just like I had with my previous 97. The problem with the previous truck was that my passenger side intercooler boot @ the intercooler was worn out and swollen up like a ballon and leaking. Well I recall someone telling me that running down the road @ like 55mph or 60mph you should be running about 10-12 psi of boost does this sound correct? Because on my current truck that is at a lower HP level than my previous truck cruising on a straight flat stretch at 55mph just below 1750 RPM I'm only running like 6 or 7 PSI of boost.
I took a look at the boot in question on my current truck last night and while the truck was running it had a couple of spots indented in towards the inside of the boot where as the drivers side didn't it was prefectly round. Does this sound fishy to any one other than me
