I'm not very mechanical so I'm putting my truck in a reliable shop next week.

Main problem: my fass 150 has about 80k on it and it 2 years old, used to run 15-16 @ idle, 13-14 driving, now runs 13 @ idle and 8-11 driving with it dropping down to 4-5 intermittenly, changed the filter and strainer so fule presssure is the starting point

had a maps installed, after that max. boost went from above 30 to 21-22, going to get the voltage checked, seemed like egt's went slightly higer running in the upper 900's empty and easy to hit 1,300 + pulling, this was a first

going to get my Goerend serviced while in the shop

was running royal purple 90-140 in the rear which got changed with a brake job, going back to the heavy royal purple pulling and living in Texas

truck has 190k miles with a great body and suspension, a keeper

mileage has not been good for some time, 15-16 highway driving the speed limit, I'm old, not a hotrodder, the valves have never been adjusted, do they need to be? any other ideas on things I should have done/adjusted while I have it to someone that can do the work?

thanks for your thoughts
