Just read part of issue 63, lots of good info . The artical on the milage max by edge products realy got my attention. But can I beleve what I am reading 7 percent increase ? Anyone out there tried this product? If it works the way they say it dose I'll buy one tomorrow. Any and all comments welcome. #@$%!

Be careful... the article states that it increases your fuel economy by increasing the fuel rail pressure. If you research this, just about everyone will tell you that increasing fuel rail pressure will decrease the life of your injectors.

The Smarty JR is a little more $ but it does a lot more. Also the JR with the POD can be adjusted to the power level that you need. I think that you would find the max to be good to start with but as time goes on you will want more. "chips" leave a lot on the table the smarty lets the truck's computer do the thinking and isn't just "fooled" into more power. If you still want a milage chip Quadzilla makes one too.

Friend with normal Smarty JR on 05' Auto with slightly oversized tires has a 2mpg increase. He runs it on the lowest setting. Also, EGT's are consistently cooler by 100-150deg.
