OK, I know this is on every bodies mind lately:
-What programmer gives the best gain in millage?
-How do they improve millage? What programming parameter do they address?
-Is there a power and millage programmer out there? Can I daily drive under millage program and switch to power program to tow the big trailer?
-What gains in MPG did you see with your programmer? What was your baseline MPG and what other mods do you have to your truck?
I have a stock 2003 HO with the 48RE. My only build plans are to do the Trans (TC and Valve Body), and probably a FASS system. Both of those are for reliability, and not really for power gains. I like power, but I love reliability and economy. Both together are even better.
And, as a note to the "slow down" crowd. Yes going slower is more efficient. However, highway accidents are caused by difference in speeds, not by speeding. I choose to move safely with the flow of traffic on the highway, so my speeds will be in the 75 MPH range. Driving 60 while the world moves at 75 around you is unsafe.
