Just read Jannety's performance mod order thread. Again...
How about another thread for fuel mileage mods.
On fuel mileage I was t hinking along the following lines:
* 10w30 or 5w30 synthetic diesel oil.
* 75w90 or 75w140 synthetic differential oil (like redline shockproof)
* 33" radial tires?
* rear gear ratio and which tire/wheel combination?
* tire pressure?
* transmission shift improver kit.
* less restrictive induction system
* 4" exhaust?
What actually works, and what order gives biggest bang for the buck. I suspect tires is No1.
How about a serious towing thread? some of the hp mods could/would hurt towing depending on order of installation or combinations of parts. (egt increases)
* Rear gears / tires matching?
* exhaust brake?
* safe fueling/timing mods?
* turbo pressure ?
* load range of tires
* dually/srw departure
* gooseneck ball v/s 5ver
* cooling
* whatever...
