mileage has dropped to about ten so i swapped aout turbos back to the stocker but it isn't better. i'm producing alot of power but even when i stay out of it i have the same result

also i'm not getting the spoolup i'm used to and am not achieving normal boost levels at wot

any ideas?

Sounds like a boost leak or possibly low fuel pressure. Check the clamps around each boot.



He's on the right track... ... I say its a bad boot somewhere.



Start the truck and check to see if any of the boots are swollen up like a ballon, or have indentions (like dimples) in them. If one of them is then it needs to be replaced.



I'd almost bet $$ its the passenger side boot @ the intercooler. Mileage took a crap on me HARD on my last truck and couldn't figure it out until I got up on a dyno and someone saw the boost leak from below. Had the current truck not even 4 months and mileage took a dump on me again. both times it was 3-4mpg. Both times I replaced the boot mentioned above and the mileage came back.
