What kind of mileage should I expect on an '04 2500 quad lb 3. 73 w/6spd. I want to get back into a cummins just wanted to see if they still get 20+.

I have an 04 3500 with the HO 305/555 motor. I average 19 on short trips, empty, to 22 on highway, empty. See my sig for the details. I get the 22 in the KY mountains, but have to run 55mph, when I see that. I get about 19 running 70-75, and hold 18s running a lot higher. All these numbers are hand figured from fuel slips. My overhead is about 2 off to the low side.

I get 15-16 around our towns here in NW CT. Hilly but not too many stop and go's or lights. Down and back on a trip to Savannah, about 2,000 miles I got 21. 8 @ 67 MPH which was as fast as I could drive without the Vibration making me crazy. What ever you get, take it on the highway before you fork over your money.
