MileMarker Electric Winch?

Can anyone tell me how the 12,000lb MM(electric) compares to the Warn of the same size. I can save about $400 on the MileMarker. Should I just go with the Warn?

I have read a few articals on the MILEMARKER electric winch, It was just released , and probally to soon to tell. But,. . they have been around for a long time, there hyd winch is very well rated, It even spec'd on millitary vehicles. And I believe I read where the reason they built a electric winch was that the military wanted one, and they wanted the contract. I think for the money, it's probally worth taken a chance on. I payed that much, for a small 4500 winch for thr trailer.

Do most of the Winches use a standard mounting pattern?

Yes. Most, if not all, of the winches above 6000 lbs. or so will have a 10" x 4 1/2" pattern.
