Mileometer

Hi

My mileometer stopped working so I ordered a second hand one from the States and that didn't work. I ordered the gear wheels from Southern Electronics and it still does not work! The mechanic says it is as if the electric motor which drives it does not have enough power. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe I could send one back to the U. S. A to be overhauled?

You need to contact Mysteryman here on TDR. He rebuilt mine as I also had issues with it.

Does the speedometer indicate the correct speed when the truck is moving?

If "Yes", then try re-aligning the tiny gears. It's easy to think you have them aligned correctly, when you don't.
