Miller spectrum 701

Does anyone have or have used a spectrum 701 plasma cutter? I know its an older model, but wasn't it supposed to be great for it's time? I am looking at one tomorrow that I can get for $700. It supposedly has been used little and looks like new. What do ya think? I want one rated for bigger stuff but cant afford the new ones. Thanks,

Does it have consumeables with the torch? Make sure you have a water seperator in your air line(assuming you will be cutting with compressed air). Water is the enemy of the orifice and electrode. One water droplet that enters the high temperature zone of the torch head instantly flashes to steam at 1600X its original volume. Steam is highly erosive and will destroy electrodes and orifices, straightaway! Very expensive. GregH
