Hello TDR Members, here is a letter I received from Tim:

Hello Robert,

My name is Tim Esterdahl and I'm the editor at Pickup Truck + SUV Talk, a YouTube and website outlet. I got your name from Dave Elshoff from Ram and I'm reaching out to pick your brain about unique million mile Dodge/Ram truck stories. I've been writing up and, more recently, videoing million mile trucks for a few years now and I'm missing a Dodge/Ram from my collection of videos. I'd like to see if you have come across any stories that you might share with me. Ideally, I'd reach out to the owner, meet them somewhere, do a video and then give you credit in my video.

Here is a playlist of videos of million mile trucks you can see what I do.

Okay audience, if you have a 1,000,000-mile truck and would like to be featured on the web, contact Tim and set it up.

Regards, TDR Robert

I'm in the Salem area. Grandkids and brother live here. A couple days forecast in the 90s, then back to a nice 80 degrees. I'm loving it

I went to Canada for a couple days and rolled 1.4 million over while there. I'm pretty sure my commercial driving is coming to an end so I doubt I'll see 1.5 million.

Funny thing about the odometer stopping at 621K ... Yesterday after two years of it not working I read about the reason it stopped because of the metric system..
I have been able to record the mileage at each oil change as that odometer gets reset each time. I just add that to the 621K .. So far I'm at 903,000 on the original 6.7 Cummins and the Asian Transmission.
I pull an enclosed 28,000 pound two car trailer almost 95 percent of the time. I plan to purchase a 2021 as soon as the new Allison ten speed is installed by the factory.. I'm going to keep this 2015 3500 dually just for the bragging rites that I personally put each and every mile on it.

My hood hinges are weak and the front fenders rusted in the pockets just forward of the doors because a bunch of leaves were hiding there for quite awhile. If I knew how to weld better I could cut and patch them in less than a day. Body shops aren't interested in jobs that small.

No. The Covid has pretty much grounded the guy. I'm still on his list, but he isn't doing anything for awhile.

Hey Gary, shoot me another email when you get a chance. My Gmail account ate it. I'm finally seeing some daylight with this COVID stuff subsiding. I'd like to get down your way in the next few weeks.

The name changed to protect the innocent. I don't think the extended drain has anything to do with oil consumption. There isn't anything wrong with the oil. Silicon numbers are always2-4, even at 30k. Viscosity is good, never any fuel dilution. I think it is leaking more than it is burning, the problem is I can't pinpoint where it is coming from. Not the front seal, the vacuum pump or tappet cover or any other of the normal leak locations. No drips while it is idling while I'm under it. This engine is closing in on 500k so it has paid for itself.
