Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Recently I purchased a 2008 3500 SRW 4WD with 125K miles from a used truck dealer. My previous truck was an 04 Dually 5.9. I was not aware the 6.7 had a some emission problems early out of the gate.
So needless to say this truck has the EGR and DPF deleted w/exhaust from end to the other. When I purchased the truck and got it home there was a manual for the Mini Maxx tuner stuffed in the glove compartment. But there is no tuner in
the truck that I can find. The check engine light (CEL) was on when I purchased it and dealer said it was because of the modifications. So I took it to a Dodge dealer to make sure and their code reader claimed it was low fuel pressure and I need a new fuel pump. They said I did not need it right away but that it was going out. So I did not purchase one and since the told me the overall truck was in great shape I made my move from Washington State back to SoCal towing my car behind it. On the way down the CEL went out and has not come back on.
My main question is: If the truck originally had a Mini Maxx, is it possible one of the downloads is installed in my truck without the tuner? If so, how would I know? If not, should I purchase a new one with the deletes and 5" exhaust done to
the engine? Appreciate any helpful feedback.
