What happens if your mini maxx stops working? Can I still drive the truck?? It has H&s tunes.. it would not load the mcc tunes.. got the tunes from a year ago but the tuner wouldn’t load them

The mini maxx itself is a tuner and a digital gauges. The tunes are loaded into the truck ECU, so even when the mini maxx is unplugged the tunes are still loaded and functioning. If the mini maxx died (seems like they often do at this age) you basically cant use it to adjust tunes anymore or as a gauge.

Short version, nothing. Keep drivign as normal. Down the road if you needed to reload a tune you will need to track down a new tuner, whatever kinda you want at that point.


get your self some reliable physical gauges to monitor EGT, Boost and Trans. I like ISSPRO EV2 myself but on a budget, the MaxTow (TowMax?) has really served me well on other trucks.
