How do i replace the mirror mounted turn signal light/bulb? Are they LED's or a regular bulb? The left one on my truck is not working, and it does not appear that there is an easy way to tear it apart.

To gain access to the turn lp youust remove their rot glass. For removal of the puddle lamp you remove the lens from the housing

Part # 68087234AA Right side $50 on Amazon

Part # 68087235AA Left side $60 on Amazon

Not sure why the left one costs more. .

But before you buy a new one, pull the signal and check the terminals for corrosion. Mine were gunked up and not working. After some light sanding with a disposable nail file and applying di-electric grease, its been working fine.

Sorry I forgot to add how to remove the mirror glass.

I have only done it once a was sure the glass would break, but it didn't.

Using your fingers reach around the glass edges , then steady pull the glass straight back(no jerking) and away from the plastic housing. The glass is held in by metal clips that hold the glass to the motor with spring tension.

LMAO!!!!! Coca Cola out the nose!!! God that hurts!!!!

So I am on round two of replacing the towing mirror LEDs, but this time the new ones don't work either. Electrical connections look good visually, and i checked them with a volt meter (digital and needle) with the 4-way flashers on. The best that i can tell there is only a volt or two that i am able to measure at the connector. Any guidance on why the new LED module doesn't work either?

Thanks for the reply...I have no problem with the procedure to change them...my issue is the new ones don't wok either, which is why I was asking if anyone had experience with electrical problems/power for these lights.
