Has anyone figured out a fix for the shaking mirrors yet? What is the process to get them off? If I get a new one it will proably do it also,so I would rather find a fix. Thanks RJ
I heard of one fix quite a while back, take some of the tape backed wheel weights for mag wheels, rotate the mirrow out far enough to stick some of these on the back. I haven't tried it, but sounds like it might take some of the flutter out of it.
Can't tell by your sig... ... but I noticed that when I put my bug shields on, I got a vibration in my mirrors at speed... ..... do you have said shield?
Are they loose and flop forwards and backwards a little? If so pull the door panel and remove the mirror from the door and there are 4 screws clamping the chrome tube. These get stripped out. I drilled and tapped mine to 1/4-20 and installed Allen head bolts and they are rock solid now.
My mirrors were "rock solid" until dealer replaced the cracked driver's side mirror. That mirror now vibrates a little. The passenger side mirror is still "rock solid".
I have had the air deflector/hood protector since day one.
