Both of my mirrors will only adjust in one direction. Any ideas on how you can check to see if it is the driver door switch?

More than likely it is the switch in the door. The whole assembly has issues with cold solder joints and if your good at this sort of thing, you can disassemble it and simply resolder it.
Or you can get a new switch assy from Rock Auto for about $105 (last time I checked anyway. . ).

EDIT:
Looks like Rock Auto prices went up but you can still get them for $127. It's listed as AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 1S4109

If anybody local has a bad one I would like to get it if your just going to toss it. I'll fix it and send it out to TDR members on a free exchange basis.

So it can be disassembled. I may try that and see if I can see any bad joints in the mirror switch. I am hoping it is that instead of the mirrors.

The worst part is getting the individual switch covers off. You just have to pry them up but it takes a lot of force and they want to launch themselves - helps to have a spotter LOL!
I'm 99. 9% sure it's just the switch and you'll want to check the rest of the joints too while you have it apart. I had to re-flow about 75% of the joints in mine.

This is typical of what the bad joints look like:

Prairie Dog, will a Weller dual tip soldering iron work or do you have to have a small single tip type gun?

You really need a low wattage iron for circuit boards. Unless your extremely careful an iron like the big Weller will lift traces and damage the board. You'll also get better results if you use some solder wick or even a childs snot sucker (no kidding, we used those!) to remove the old solder first - Just get it hot and suck it off.
