mirrors

1996 Stock mirrors, it seems like the rubber has wore out. the mirrors rotate in at about 55 mph, and sooner with the extensions on. Any one else had this problem if so what would be a good mirror to put on? Thanks

There will be plenty of replies about the mirrors folding back in the ARCHIVES. Punch it in and check it out.
I repaired my old truck and my Dads by removing the mirror and tapping the stripped tension holder holes to 6mm metric. Take the mirror apart and you will see what I mean.
