miss at idle

I have noticed this week and last that whenever I come to a complete stop after being up to speed, I get a very distinct miss at idle. I can not detect and stumble with the go peddle aplied and it will go away after only 30 seconds or so. I can not tell any differnce in SOTP power. The fuel pressure checks out and I have ran 6 tanks of fuel through it this week. Another interesing twist is I have the best MPG ever out of my truck during this week. I have received over 20 MPG for the first time. I ussually get about 18. 5 on interstate driving. I would like to ditch the miss and keep the MPG. I do not know if they are related, but with the computer controlling timing, fueling, ECT... you never know. I do have an edge EZ and will unhook it tommorrow to see if it makes a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated
