You didn't provide any information as to whether the "misfire" occurs under load, steady throttle, idle, low or high rpm, or ???????? Hard to offer any suggestions with no information.

My '01 misfired when accelerating at low rpm when it had about 60k miles on it. The fuel transfer pump was the cause.

Travis - sounds like the #4 is clogged/restricted. Pull them all and have them gone over. Or . . . this could be a perfect time to slap in some bigger sticks. But, depends on what's been done to prepare your truck for HP mods.

You should create a signature so we know what is what w/your rig.

the truck has a AEM brute force air filter, and a industrial injection turbo, and a Goerands transmission. ive only hade the truck for a few months all power mods were on it when i got it

If you have a reputable diesel pump shop nearby you could pull all the injectors and have them tested and adjusted to specs. If the injectors all test good then the problem is the injection pump, #4 injector line, or #4 injector crossover tube. It is possible for the crossover tube to be leaking internally and cause a miss.

Godspeed,
Trent
