missing body mount

Was under my truck today looking for rattle that was getting progressively worse. Decided to throw a wrench on the body mount bolts and check for tightness when low and behold i noticed the middle mount on the pass. side was completely gone. Both the bolt and rubber. I know it was there originally because i remember seeing it when i installed my ss nerfs after buying the truck new. Has anyone else experienced problems like this? If so what likely was the cause?

By chance did you monkey with it when you put your bars on?? I do not want to sound mean, but in the excitment of new toys could you have forgotten to tighten it up.

I never messed with that body mount. The nerf bars attached to the front and rear mounts. The middle mount is the one that is missing.

Hmmmmmmmmm??? Never heard of one leaving like that before. How many miles were on the truck. I'm thinking warranty here.

Most definitely warranty work. 2000qc dually 4x4, auto with 33,000mi. Thought maybe a comb of torque and/or twisting of the truck when traveling over uneven terrain. Just thought it was odd that a body mount would fall out. Maybe it wasn't torqued from the factory.

Might be a good idea to check mine this week end. When I put my bars on, I used some Lock-Tite on em, but the center ones need to be looked at. Might as well do them too. Hmmm Still strange it would just depart like that though.
