I just have two simple questions. #1 What is an estimated time for installation? #2. Where is a good place to get a centering tool for a dual disk clutch locally? Thanks.

The Mitchell is too heavy to use a plastic centering tool with. You'll need to make your own out of steel, or find/borrow a broken 1 3/8 input shaft. Installation time depends on experience. Anywhere from 4 to 6 hours, as many as 8.

I would agree that the clutch discs are heavy and will bend the plastic "dumby" shaft, but I installed mine with one but I did have to hold up on the end of it while tightening down the cover to insure that it was centered. It would be a good idea to get a steel one. The dumby shaft will be the same for a dual disc as a single. It can take some time to install, but take your time to get the finger adjustment perfect. It is worth the time and effort to install this clutch with out a doubt.

#1 What is an estimated time for installation?... .

As Briar has said 4-6 hours depending on your skill level and the tolls to do it,8 or more with problems.

It took them 4-6 hours at the shop to do mine with the 5th gear nut update, new slave cylinder, carefull work not to get truck dirty and the test rides. If you decide to let them do the install it is worth the trip. EEP's customer service is second to none and they are a great bunch of people. Heck they even let me tour, oops, get lost in Ohio for them. . LOL.

When you call EEP and chat with Doug why not ask him where to get what you need. If he doesn't have it he may be able to steer you in the right direction.

You will be plenty satisfied with the unit,I know I am,best money I ever spent... ... ... ... Andy
