Draft Schedule, MM'01

Thanks Houston

I just donated a lot of hours putting all the registrations into Excel. Surprisingly, some [about half] of those who were most vocal last Fall wanting MM01 have not registered! #ad
I can think of a couple "full-figured" folks from the state to the west of me who have not #ad

The second boat is about 2/3 full and I will have to cut off reservations next week, (I have to pay for the reservations then) so hurry if you want to go on the dinner boat tour on Wednesday May 16. Actually the first 75 will get the choice of dates (Wedn or Thu) when they show up at the "gate" so some of those who procrastinated might be able to get on the Thursday boat if they prefer that date to the overflow date of Wedn May 16.

I will get some extra t shirts (gray, 4 colors) but again remember the 6 p's #ad
[prior planning prevents p--- poor performance] I won't order so many that I have a lifetime supply, on the chance that a lot of folks wait and register at the door and want their shirts immediately.

Last year the banquet was heavily subsidized by Dodge. This year, Sam's Town was glad to get our business but the best menu is only available for over 300 persons, and we are not quite there yet. Furthermore, I have to give them a reasonably close head-count next week. They heavily discounted that banquet selection, and I would rather get it, but not if I have to buy a bunch of buffets in case enough people don't register late.

The bottom line is this: I volunteered to put on this event and I am quite happy to help even with no funding from Dodge or Cummins to subsidize costs. HOWEVER, you folks have to help me out by registering in advance, because of the above situations in particular. I don't have corporate funds to play with, and get things ready without your commitments. Incredibly, more folks from the Reno area have registered than from our local LV chapter. #ad

To those who registered early, thanks for your help. It is unfortunate that there was a change in personnel at Desert Dodge, causing some confusion on confirmations, etc. but I am working with them to straighten it out. Just bring your cancelled check or credit card bill to MM01 if you have any concern about whether your registration is in place.

Thanks

Bill, you're on the spreadsheet, 1 banquet, one boat cruise, one t shirt.

I'm afraid to dyno poor old Sickly. It feels like he is down to 206 hp again [215 + 1 from uprate -5 -5 for two penalties levied by the overvalved a year ago for posting on their forum]. #ad

Maybe he will be feeling better by MM01. Lawrence and I have him scheduled for Intensive Care at the diesel skunkworks on Valley View #ad
Lawrence has been trying to get his new blue truck to run a little better. I think it caught some disease from Sickly and it needed some time in the shop too #ad
You folks REALLY need to check it out at MM01. Finally, a 24 valve engine that looks [almost #ad
] as nice as a 12 valve, even with all those wiring harnesses plugged into it. #ad

Joe, I mailed my reservation Friday.
Plus one banquet and shirt.

I will fax Registration Today.

I guess I could just save it and hand it over to HVAC for some Midnight Maintaince #ad

LOL at Nowel,

Are you kidding, We're all full figured next to Blair #ad
. I'm just trying to figure out how he can pull a 5 speed transmission by him self without a transmission jack #ad
I guess that go's to show that brains is better then Braun, ah Pinestein? #ad

I think I know Blair's secret. He gets someone to brick him at the critical moment when dealing with something heavy like a NV4500 #ad
