I just donated a lot of hours putting all the registrations into Excel. Surprisingly, some [about half] of those who were most vocal last Fall wanting MM01 have not registered!

I can think of a couple "full-figured" folks from the state to the west of me who have not

The second boat is about 2/3 full and I will have to cut off reservations next week, (I have to pay for the reservations then) so hurry if you want to go on the dinner boat tour on Wednesday May 16. Actually the first 75 will get the choice of dates (Wedn or Thu) when they show up at the "gate" so some of those who procrastinated might be able to get on the Thursday boat if they prefer that date to the overflow date of Wedn May 16.
I will get some extra t shirts (gray, 4 colors) but again remember the 6 p's

[prior planning prevents p--- poor performance] I won't order so many that I have a lifetime supply, on the chance that a lot of folks wait and register at the door and want their shirts immediately.
Last year the banquet was heavily subsidized by Dodge. This year, Sam's Town was glad to get our business but the best menu is only available for over 300 persons, and we are not quite there yet. Furthermore, I have to give them a reasonably close head-count next week. They heavily discounted that banquet selection, and I would rather get it, but not if I have to buy a bunch of buffets in case enough people don't register late.
The bottom line is this: I volunteered to put on this event and I am quite happy to help even with no funding from Dodge or Cummins to subsidize costs. HOWEVER, you folks have to help me out by registering in advance, because of the above situations in particular. I don't have corporate funds to play with, and get things ready without your commitments. Incredibly, more folks from the Reno area have registered than from our local LV chapter.

To those who registered early, thanks for your help. It is unfortunate that there was a change in personnel at Desert Dodge, causing some confusion on confirmations, etc. but I am working with them to straighten it out. Just bring your cancelled check or credit card bill to MM01 if you have any concern about whether your registration is in place.
Thanks
