As For Me We Like It We Have Run The Red Oil In Our Fuel Tank And The Truck Seems To Like It

The Fuel Filter Turns Pink

The Truck Seens To Run Smoother On Marvel Mystery Oil

But How Much Is To Much :d :-{}

Been using mmo for 6 years in my 98. 5 24 v. still running the origina vp-44 . I dont measure the amount, however I fill my tank when between 1/4 and 1/2 and add about 4 to 6 oz. of mmo and 4oz. of howes meaner. Dont know if this is the reason the pump has lasted so long, now have 434,000 kms on the truck and pump working like new.

I add a quart with every tankful and the truck seems to like it... no problems with my VP44, of course the FASS is the important add on there  .

I use 8oz mmo w/16oz of power service per tank for the last 2 years. It made a difference in the way the truck runs... ... ..... and smells :-laf ... ... ... ... bp

I'm telling you it loves that MARVLE MYSTER OIL AND POWER SERVICE

THEY THINK I'M PULLING THERE LEG

BUT THE ENGINE RUNS SMOOTHER THE TICK TICK TICK GOES AWAY

SOME SAY THAT IS THE VP44 THAT TICKS BUT I DON'T KNOW

I DO KNOW THIS STUFF WORKS

I STOPED USING IT TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN

MY FASS LIFT PUMP SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS ON ITS LAST LEG AND THE TICKING CAME BACK

WE ADD ED A 1 QUART OF MARVEL MYSTERY OIL AND IT BACK TO IT'S OLD SELF

IT TOOK A DAY OR TWO OF RUNNING THE THE TRUCK

BUT ALL IS WELL NOW NO MOREGOING WITHOUT

BUT I WAS DOING A QT OF MMO AND A THING OF POWER SERVICE AT FILL UP Oo.

IT RAN SO SMOOTH YOU WOULD THINK IT WAS A GASSER

Have used MMO since the 1950's when I was an apprentice mechanic at the old Cummins agency in S. F.

On the old PT systems on the older trucks, it was used to keep the injector plungers clean. On the trucks it was used, seldom was a stuck injector incountered. Now this is far passe now but still used by many.

Used it on my old ist gener truck and presently on my 04. Just do not use too much and the fuel filter should not be pink, as this is a sign of useing too much.

In California here, the State Patrol has periodic stops where they "stick" the tanks. If too much, you will be cited for red off the highway fuel.

As the old saying goes, " when in doubt, read the instructions".

Its good stuff. labeled now as to "not be used on model year 2007 trucks & newer Diesel motor vechicles". Federal law to comply with LS fuel.

I have run it every fill up for for a year up until about a month ago. I then tried Bio diesel, it lacks power and mileage. Plus Bio does nothing to help the enviroment :{ . I am now on Amsoil "Cetane Boost Additive" and "Diesel Concentrate" A local Amsoil dealer ("Tod") with an 11 sec D-Max has me sold on this stuff! I recently went on a 200 mile venture down I-10 and noted a 2. 5 MPG increase over normal pushing me to mid 19 MPG :D

The MMO is good stuff for adding lubrication. It just lacks the mileage feature of the Amsoil product.

You use 16 ounces? That seems like a lot for a tankful.

... . OK, sorry, I just looked, 16 ounces would only be half of a bottle.
