MN crowd to IRP?

Isnt there a bunch of guys from the cities and surounding areas headed out to IRP? I want to go, but want to join a convey with some other guys too. I know that Josh Peters mentioned something about it at the Buffalo Wild Wings gathering?

Sounds as if we are all meeting up in Tomah, WI. It was my fault for thinking I-90 and I-94 meet in Madison. I will see Aron today and I believe we want to be in Tomah by 7am, there is a truck stop we can just meet at, swap drivers and riders or whatever then get over towards Matt, eat at the Dells call each other names and roll on.

I either got to ride with someone who has a front seat open or drive the VW, at least it's a diesel. If I drive I have room for a rider or two. Fuel will be cheap split 2 or 3 ways! When I asked Bill for a ride I wasn't figuring on the back seat or leaving Sun afternoon. The ride down wouldn't be too bad if I could ride with Aron from Tomah but it would be long ride back home in the back.



Josh why don't ride with me in the VW? If Ben want's to join us we can do that. When are you guys planning to come back? Did I say how cheap fuel would be?

Hey I'm open to anything but too many hrs in the back seat. My back has been treating me well this summer and I don't want to mess it up. I have a long road trip coming up in July and I don't want to do it in pain. I don't mind driving the car but a little company to share the driving would be nice.

Scott, I think most of us want to stay for the finals. Last year Kevin and I left in the morning, and by 5 we were passed by most of the group. We were running around the speed limit as well. If you want Scott, I'll camp out in Andy's back seat and you can have the front till Tomah and same on the way back.

PS, I've got a video camera again this year! So, I'm looking forward to some good video! This one I've been told is capable of puting video online! It's also the camera that was used 2 years ago at the Osceola pull. I'll have that on VHS now as well.

Sorry about the numbers... ... ... I didn't include driver... ..... with the numbers. Don't worry about me... ... . days are flying fast and I am trying to get stuff done. Got Arons Vac pump done yesterday... ... he is just about ready, Kevin is tackeling the fuel leak with another set of fuel lines, Andy is going, again. Mine I few minor things to do... ... fluids really... ... . of ya and make a line to drain the keg..... clean polish and all that happy nonsense. There just is not enough time in a day to get crap done... ... ... . now got to make sure the radar dector shows up in time... ... later Jim.

375mi on the truck need a bunch more. and to change all fluids, uggg. i need a rider to keep me awake, i hate sleeping and driving. did i here somthing about a keg? well keep me up to speed on leave time and what not. i dont want to play catch up, god knows how slow my truck is... ... ... .

Not enough time now to worry about it, I am not rushing anyone at this point.

Like I said, Aron and I will be at the truck stop in Tomah waiting for you guys around 7am give or take a half an hour, road trip we are not in a huge rush.

Could be three trucks with us, Aron's, Grant's and myself.

All you have to do is get hooked up with Chilly, Kevin, and yourself Andy.

Then we meet up with Matt... ... ... . you have our numbers.

That is only 11 people for 4 rooms, Kevin and wife booked into the Days Inn, as well as Jim Tisdale. Works out fairly good, but numbers are down since we had a few drop out because of conflicts in scheudle.

Oh and for those that know Jake from up in Duluth... ... ... he has left the sate of MN.....



I have my CB... ... ... . but hey I have to see your truck to hear ya... ... ... . lol. I do have one extra hand held in case someone is short. I think we all have them. Andy is the only one that does not.

Hey Guys! I'm seriously thinking about driving one of my rags down to IRP and even possibly dragging a gooseneck so we can get Andy's truck back to MN when it explodes again. LOL Ive got some issues with the 24 valve like surging, a very weak throttle cable, and some rear axle backlash that concern me driving it that far but I may get some of those things fixed this week yet. The 12 valve seems to be treating me good but the stock transmission would most likely crap out that far away as well with my luck. I only live about an hour from the morning meeting point if anyone wants to drive this far and crash here overnight regardless if I go or not. If I decide to make the trip is there anyone who wants to drive my truck because quite frankly Im sick of driving lately with all of it Ive been doing. Im also game in letting someone drive my 12 valver if passenger room is needed. If anyone needs to get ahold of me quick this week just call me at 563-546-7772 or 563-419-0252.

So Let me get this straight. I ride to Tomah with Andy and Josh then play musical trucks to IRP.



Coming back I play musical trucks to Tomah and then ride with Andy and Josh back to cities.



And this won't be a problem because there will be, according to Jim, at least one front seat open (with or without steering wheel). Have I got this right?



If so I just need to figure out where and when to meet up with Andy and Josh.
