SEVERAL FOLKS SUGGEST MNT EMILY AS A CENTRAL LOCA WHERE FOLKS FROM EAST SIDE,WEST, AND EVERYWHERE CAN MEET 4 CAMP AND GETOGETHER

ON I-84 go to Exit 243 it says MT. Emily (This is about 40 miles from Pendleton and 15 miles from LaGrande). Head north on the gravel road. Go at least 4 or 5 miles and then you can just pick your spot. There are a few roads that veer off and any of these have good spots. If you want there are plenty of spots to camp right off the main road. First one there just put up a paper plate with arrows for the rest of the people. Its a beautiful area and your likely to see deer, elk, turkey, bear, grouse and many chipmunks
