DHRA Div 5 Race April 23!!

MO truck pulls

Well Gentlemen, the weather is getting nice again, and many are itching to do some Bombing. I'm still trying to locate a good place to "play" during the winter months. Anyone want to just get together for Buffalo wings or something of that nature on a Saturday or Sunday? I know many of you come from long distances and this may not be worth the drive. As soon as the weather permits I'm going to try and set-up at least one party before Muncie.

Anyone wanna do Lunch sometime?

just trying to keep it alive!

Josh

I just need enough notice to plan a weekend trip down.

Either a late Saturday lunch or Sunday lunch will work. I'll just drop the family off somewhere to kill a couple hours.

I was thinking a Sunday Mid-afternoonish... . 1 or so... at a Buffalo Wild Wings. I haven't figured a location, I know many of you are comming from quite a distance, so that makes it tough. Any Ideas? I know of a new one that is pretty nice in Champlin, and another in Northtown. What works for you guys?

Josh

Works for me... I can just shoot right down Hwy 10 and be in the Twin Cities in about 2 1/2 hours. Wonder if any of the Cheeseheads will show up ;)

Paul

Count me in . . For that kind of A meeting , Sundays workout best. . Water skipping season has already started on Lake Vermillion , I went yesterday and had A blast , took 74 pictures of friends. . Maybe you guys would like to come up here to watch or participate . . ????

Later , CaseyOo.

Sundays work the best for me too. What's this about cheeseheads? I have Wisconsin plates if that will make your day, MN Cummins Lvr. :)

I am in. Josh, do you think we'll have enough at Buffalo Wild Wings for 30 rumbling trucks? Heck, the way I've seen most diesel guys eat, BWW's stock might go up a few points just by us visiting!

Depending on the date, I may be able to make it. We'll have to see.

Josh, the truck's running REAL GUUD!!!Oo. Now if I can just find a lift pump that'll keep up.

A lift pump... . sounds like you need a fire hose and pump!

I was thinking about the end of the month for the gathering. Will that work for you guys? The Champlin location is nice, and seems to have plenty of parking.

I'll give them a call on thursday and see what they say..... :D

Did you know there is a 1-800 line to rat out people who live in MN and license in WI?

Ok, OK, I'll let it go if you buy a round to go with the wings. Pick a date I'll show if possible.

He actually crossed the fence... ... Yep... he's a cheezehead! At least he drives a nice Cummins with a Dodge wraped around it... . I think we can forgive him for that... .

Josh

Yep. Born and raised in MN. Lived in Duluth, Minnesota for 6 years but found an insane deal on a house in Superior, WI. Insurance is cheaper, plates and tabs are cheaper, 1% less state sales tax, and no 1% city tax that the city of Duluth has. My office is in Duluth, and my wife and I also own a business in downtown Duluth. I'm not a cheesehead. I'm just behind enemy lines. :)

Josh Peters, have we met before? :)

So I guess the handle, "cheesehead diesel" is still available. Anyone?

Not available. The freaks have long owned the title.

I think "Duluth" just doesn't want to admit he has to hit the Bong twice a day and try claim Superior Diesel... ...

Is March 28th the plan? Just far out enough to get my schedule arranged.

Actually, I do tend to take the Bong bridge over more often than the 53 bridge. All our income is from MN, and we have a Minnesota Tax ID number... does that count? When infiltrating enemy territory, you have to try to blend in, so I had no choice but to buy property in WI land. :) But I was thinking about this last night. I'm not a Packer fan. I'm not a Viking fan. Football kinda stinks with all those overpaid crybabies. I'd rather watch Dakar than watch a bunch of padded up sweaty goons dry hump eachother on fake grass. So that aside, Wisconsin is the land of beer and cheese. What's not to love about beer and cheese? And on top of that, WI is much more 4-wheeler friendly than MN.

But I admit, if I move again, I will try to get back to MN. At least there I can conceal and carry.
