Mobil 1 synthetic diesel truck oil is only 12.99 a gallon at autozone:

It is not my brand of choice but it is less than half price from what walmart sells it so I bought some anyhow but for anyone in the really cold weather this is a steal

actually it is both - I thought it was just delvac too despite that the fine print that mentions the mobil 1 so I had the guy scan it and it was 12.99 too

Thanks for the heads up on the Mobil 1 Diesel Truck 5w40 oil. Picked up 6 gallons today for $12.99 each! Regular price was $29.99.

With the autozone club card this works out to be cheaper than Delo ON SALE at Costco so I am actually buying more of it and hoping my truck will like it

All of the CI4+ I have found recently also meets CJ specs, so it is not the "good stuff" for pre-2007 Rams. Since I can't use it, I am getting rid of some pails of the old formula CI4+ Delo 400 that I stockpiled for my 2004. I can't use it on my 2013 because of the lovely smog traps.

CAT and Amsoil are the only CI4+ oils I can get my hands on in small containers locally. I can get Delo if I buy a 55gal drum of it.

I ended up getting 6gal of the Mobil 1 today and the sale price was NOT advertised in the store. However, the register corrected the price and showed a savings of $102!! I guess my plan on sticking with the good stuff just went out the window. :-laf
