Finally found a place that will put Mobile1 Synthetic through our my drive train. Trany, transfer, diffs.

I believe for the diffs I want this GL-5 SAE 75W-90 for a 10. 5 rear and 75w140 for a 9. 5 rear (not sure what I have) Do I need to make sure they put in any additives (anti slip or something)

Also what weight should the transmission and Transfer case be?

You have the 11. 5 Rear abd yes, the owners manual calls for 75/90 GL-5 in the rear! :) I have used Mobile 1 rear diff fluid with great results. Never used it in my trans and other fluids. . I use AMSOIL in those. .

While they call for 75w90 in the rear, that was probably for mileage increase, not overall protection. The 75w140 would be a good choice for the rear axle, 75w90 for the front (since its rarely under load).

And IIRC, it was someone on here that indicated DC was now recommending 75w140 for the rear if any towing was done...
