Modifications To The Cab Rear Seat Area

I looked for maybe a better place to post this but it seems mods are accepted here and I wanted to mention to others an article I read this week in Truck Camper Magazine. It lists text and pictures of mods made to the rear seat. It would seem to me that after seeing John Landry's truck, and he pulls a trailer, that others might be interested in some ideas to make their back seat area serve them better. He has a good system going but some folks remove the seat and get some wood working tools out. The on line magazine is free and has other input on good places to visit...or not... I would post a link if I knew how to do that. Lots of input on the site for campers and after market equipment if you have not seen the site before.

It would seem to me that after seeing John Landry's truck... He has a good system going...

All we've done is folded the rear seats up, folded the floor cargo panels down, then we stack several large clear plastic totes filled with our stuff on the floor. If we need to carry passengers, we temporarily move the totes into our travel trailer.

While we would gain a lot more room if we removed the rear seats... and I've thought about it... we're not yet ready to completely eliminate the ability to carry passengers.
