2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Modified factory trail arms

Has anybody modified the factory trail (control) arms? I have been thinking about welding a piece of flat stock to the bottom of both bottom arms to finish "boxing" them. Has anybody tried this or something similar? Thanks, Jim

A budd y of mine had boxed and powder coated his arms. This was done for strength as he was bending arms in abusive situtaions.



He went to the DT arms several months ago and now says he wishes he had done this from the start.
