Moose hunt success

just finished an awesome moose hunt in BC. 4 hunters, 4 moose in 4 days. Mine was the largest coming in at 48" spread and 716lbs of meat. Next was 45" by my father. Then 2 38" large bodied moose. The hunt was an experience of a lifetime.

Boy that sounds like a great hunt, nice looking racks on those two. Looks like you have your winter meat supply there. Good to hear you enjoyed it.

Here is my son with his 6'6" 400lb. Arkansas black bear.



Killed Saturday 10/8 with compound bow - one shot - clean kill through both lungs and heart at 30 yards.

A fellow killed the World Record Black Bear in 1998 in Eastern North Carolina. It weighed 880lbs.



I got to talk with a guy that witnessed the kill and he said that it looked like a Black Grizzly! It got so big from feeding off the cacasses of hogs from the record holders hog farm. He said that they had a pit in the woods where they dumped bad hogs and had witnessed that Bear drag a 600+ lb. hog out of the pit like it was a rabbit and tote it off deep in the woods.



He showed me pictures of it beside the man who killed it and it dwarfed the guy. I would love to see the size of the rug that came from that monster!!
