Hi Harry!

The new AMSOIL ATF+4 has only been out since January, 2000 so I don't have any long term experiance as of yet.

At this time, I have 3 customers who are running it. Two have only a few thousand miles on it and other than seeming to shift smoother, they have not noticed a ny differance. The other has about 27,000 mi on the oil and reports that the there is no longer a "shutter" when he is hauling big loads. He has had better fuel milage but this may be due to the warmer temps and the wide variety of loads he hauls.

We plan on analysing the oil after 50,000 mi to see how well it is holding up. I have one customer who had a 95 and put over 320,000 mi on it, after changing to the regular ATF, with no added fluid at all. I hope this new fluid does as well.

I hope to be able to have more data in 5 months or so.

I too am interested in +4 atf. This weekend I plan to service trans. and transfer case. This morning I talked with 2 Dodge parts houses, and neither knew if +4 would work in my 96. Last week I talked with an amsoil dealer and he wasn't aware of amsoil+4.
Heading to Moab,Ut. in about 4 weeks to do a little 4wheeling
Truck, slidein truck camper(4000#),1800# trailor, and 3200# jeep. Add to that tools, misc. , 1 rather petite wife, and 1 ugly Bullterrier, gross is a little over 16000#.

I put Mopar +4 ATF in my '96 (along with the MAG-Hytek pan) and what a difference #ad

No more TC slip, no more shudder. Only have about 1500 miles on it though but it is still like a new transmission. I hauled my 8K# toy hauler to the hills a few times since. What a pleasure. Now my lock-up switch makes a real diff.
