Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Hello everyone,
Was installing Bill K's convertor and Valve Body yesterday and replacing stock line with the earlier one with temp sensor, and ran into trouble. I figured I would test the check valve in the line before installing it. I couldn't blow shop air through the line in either direction no matter what I tried. I immediately called Bill K and he said to disassemble the steel and flexible joint, this is where the check valve is located, maybe it was stuck. Sure enough, I took it apart and found a piece of stray rubber stuck in the line. Removed it and air would pass in the direction it was supposed to. I would have cooked the transmission for sure If I hadn't of checked the line first. Something to think about and check out. Thanks to Bill K for being available on Sunday.
